Die AHK Finnland in Helsinki fördert die wirtschaftlichen Beziehungen zwischen Deutschland und Finnland. Ihre vorrangige Aufgabe ist es, durch maßgeschneiderte Dienstleistungen neue Geschäfte zwischen deutschen und finnischen Unternehmen in die Wege zu leiten. Die AHK Finnland gehört zum weltweiten Netz der deutschen Auslandshandelskammern (AHK).

We in the German–Finnish Chamber of Commerce (AHK Finnland) promote German–Finnish economic relations and business. We are part of the worldwide network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK). Our team of 30 experts advises especially small and medium–sized companies in all questions on export activities in both countries, and take care of market entry form strategy to cold–calling. Our German–Finnish member network consists of 650 companies form Finland and Germany. We are also an active player in the startup ecosystem, organizing different activities for startups as well as connecting startups with corporates in both countries.

Die Botschaft der Bundesrepublik Deutschland wirkt in allen Bereichen der auswärtigen Beziehungen zu Finnland mit, bei der Förderung der bilateralen, vor allem politischen, aber auch kulturellen, Beziehungen, der Förderung deutscher Wirtschaftsinteressen, bei der Betreuung deutscher Staatsangehöriger, aber zum Beispiel auch bei der internationalen Zusammenarbeit in Forschung und Technologie, Klima, Umwelt und Energie, in der Sozialpolitik, der Landwirtschafts- und der Entwicklungspolitik.

Die Deutsche Evangelisch–Lutherische Gemeinde erreicht Menschen deutscher Sprache in ganz Finnland. Sie ist Teil der finnischen Kirche und gehört zum schwedischsprachigen Bistum in Porvoo (Borgå). Sie ist seit 1959 mit der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland (EKD) verbunden. Das Zentrum der Gemeinde ist Helsinki (Helsingfors). Daneben gibt es die Kapellengemeinde in Turku (Åbo) und rund 18 Gemeindegruppen im ganzen Land.

The German Evangelical–Lutheran congregation reaches people of German language in Finland. It is part of the Finnish Church and belongs to the Swedish diocese in Porvoo (Borgå). It is connected since 1959 with the Evangelical Church in Germany. The center of the congregation is Helsinki (Helsingfors). Then there’s the chapel congregation in Turku (Åbo) and approximately 18 community groups across the country.

Kultureller Austausch im europäischen Geist — Die finnische, private und politisch unabhängige Aue–Stiftung (Aue-Säätiö) fördert das Wissen über das deutschsprachige Mitteleuropa und den wissenschaftlichen und künstlerischen Austausch zwischen dieser Region und Finnland. Aufgabe der 1985 von Theodor und Ulla Aue gegründeten Aue–Stiftung ist es, Finnlands Anknüpfung an das deutschsprachige Europa zu vertiefen, indem sie die Kultur dieser Region bekannt macht. Angesichts wachsender globaler Unsicherheit wollen wir auch die Glaubwürdigkeit unseres Kontinents als Verteidiger liberaler, demokratischer Werte und als Pionier einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung stärken.

The Aue Foundation is a private independent foundation, founded in 1985 by Theodor and Ulla Aue. Theodor Aue was a Finnish businessman, whose parents came from Germany. As a true European and cosmopolite, he wanted to promote the Europeanism that had been introduced to him at a young age by the German language and culture. His credo “taking responsibility for the future from a historical past and promoting the diversity and understanding of free and democratic Europe, independent from nation–state–thinking” obliges the Aue Foundation to protect and defend the “Miracle of Europe”. The Aue Foundation promotes awareness of the culture of German–speaking Europe and the interaction of its science and art in Finland and more broadly throughout the Baltic Sea region. The Foundation contributes to strengthening the credibility of our continent as a responsible pioneer of sustainable development and a defender of the values ​​of liberal democracy.
